All works are handmade original pieces by Jody Vining
Some of these works date back to roughly 2008, others were completed only a week ago.
I have always held onto my original pieces, simply because they held more value. We tend to hold on tighter to that which we cherish the most. Not realizing that by doing this, I was missing the whole point. Art is created to be shared – and as far as I can tell, in its original, un-copied form. Original pieces are as unique as you and me. Their value is tremendous and should be honored by more than just myself. I hope you find one, or a few, that bring you Joy, and may they continue to do so for years to come.

The Creative Process
Being an artist is way more than just sitting down with some paint and a brush and having fun.
It can be hard.
It’s creation in such a pure form.
It means sitting in front of a blank space and fully surrending to let universal energy flow through you. And if your own energy isn’t clear, a lot comes up.
It can look like a few strokes of paint, a push back to cry for 10 minutes, add some more paint, and then some intense movement to move through the energy circulating through your body looking for a way out.
I wouldn’t change it for the world. Art is everything to me. To be able to feel that universal energy flow through and then watch it come into physical form is incredible.
